Appointment questions
How can I book an appointment?
You can easily book online via our booking page — just choose your location, nailtech and treatment.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes — you can change or cancel your appointment up to 24 hours in advance via your confirmation email.
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes — walk-ins are always welcome. If we have availability, we’ll happily help you. We do recommend checking online first to see what’s available.
Can I book a specific nailtech?
Absolutely — each nailtech has their own profile and availability. Find your match via Meet the Team.
What if I’m running late?
Please let us know. If you’re more than 10 minutes late, we may need to adjust or reschedule your treatment.
Treatment questions
I’m not sure which treatment to book — can you help?
Yes! Upload a photo of your nails via our “Not sure what to book?” form and we’ll advise what suits you best.
Do you offer BIAB and Gel Polish for both hands and feet?
Yes — you can book both. Just select the correct category when booking.
Do you remove old products?
Yes — we safely remove old product before every new set. Make sure to add “remove” when booking.
Can I get nail art on any base?
Yes — nail art (LAKLEVELS) can be added to BIAB, Gel Polish, Polish or Extensions.
Do you offer pedicures?
Yes — you can choose between Polish or Gel Polish for your pedicure.

Do I need experience to work at LAKWERK?
No — but you do need to have a feel for nails and be motivated to learn. If you’re starting from zero, we recommend joining our bootcamp first.
How does the training work?
You start with a pre try-out, followed by a tailored training with online modules and practical sessions. After completing your training, you’ll do a final try-out before starting in the salon.
How long does the training take?
It depends on your level and progress — it can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months.
Can I work parttime?
Yes — you can rent a chair from a minimum of 2 days per week.
When do I start earning?
Once you start working in the salon. Your income depends on how quickly you build your client base.
How do I apply?

Payment questions
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept card and contactless payments (no cash).
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes — you can purchase digital or physical LAKWERK gift cards online or in the salon.
How long is my gift card valid?
12 months from the date of purchase.
Can I use my gift card in both salons?
Yes — gift cards are valid in Amsterdam and Den Bosch.

Do you have multiple salons?
Yes — we have locations in Amsterdam and Den Bosch.
Do you offer events or collaborations?
Yes — from private bookings to brand events and festivals. Reach out via our contact form.
